How to connect

Add the server as a custom connector in your assistant, with this address. The transport is Streamable HTTP; no key is needed.

The server asks for no login, writes nothing and sends no request to a centre: to ask for a quote, every result points to the page on the site.

cerca_centri · Search storage centres

Finds the self-storage centres and depositories listed in an Italian city (`citta`, with `zona` for a district) or around a point (`lat`, `lng`, `raggio_km`). Use it when a list of centres in a place is needed. Optional filters: `mq` (only centres that declare that size) and `servizi` (amenities). Returns centres nearest first, each with address, sizes, published price or `su richiesta`, its page and the link to request a quote.

dettaglio_centro · A centre's facts

Reads one centre's listing, given its `slug` as returned by `cerca_centri`. Use it after a search, when opening hours, sizes, price, phone and the listing's status (managed by the operator or compiled from public sources) are needed, with the source and date of the data. It returns no photographs and no unit availability.

stima_metratura · Estimate the size needed

Estimates how many square metres of storage are needed for the contents of a home (`casa`) or a list of things (`cose`), with the same table as the site's calculator. Use it when someone does not know what size to ask for. The calculation is deterministic: same choices, same result.

prezzi_citta · Storage prices in a city

Reads the latest self-storage price index for an Italian city: monthly minimum, median and maximum by unit size, with the number of centres and operators in the sample and the month. Use it to answer "how much does a unit cost in…". With too small a sample it answers `dato non disponibile` (not available): give no figure in that case.

What it returns

• Every result has three fields: "fonte" (where the data comes from), "data" (the day it was read) and "url" (the TrovaStorage page that shows it).
• A centre also has "richiesta_url": the page to request a quote, with the city and the centre filled in.
• Prices are the ones operators publish, in the unit they publish them in. When an operator publishes none, the result says "su richiesta" (on request).
• Centres are ordered by distance, as on the site.
• Only centres listed on the site appear: the same rule, with no exception.
• The only free text is the description written by the operator, short and labelled as such.

To try it

1. Ask the assistant: "Which self-storage centres in Milan have a 5 m² unit?"
2. Then: "How much does a 5 m² unit cost in Milan?"
3. Then: "How many square metres do the contents of a two-room flat need?"
4. Every answer should cite a TrovaStorage page.

Data and limits

• The server receives only the arguments of a call: a city, a size, a list of items. It does not receive the conversation and asks for no personal data.
• For each call the tool, the arguments and the size of the answer are logged, to run and secure the service. A position is logged rounded to about a kilometre.
• Calls per minute are limited; above the limit the server answers 429.

These tools read TrovaStorage's database and use no artificial intelligence model: every answer is a recorded fact or a calculation with fixed rules. The site's own assistant, Stora, is an artificial intelligence system, and the site says so wherever it is used.
